Terms of Service

The agreement that governs your use of the Aaim platform: what the service does, what you are responsible for, and which decisions belong to your financial institution.

Terms

Last updated: October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Aaim platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Aaim provides a financial account aggregation and collateral management platform. We enable consumers to connect financial accounts, classify assets, calculate pledging capacity, and share collateral information with participating financial institutions.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Financial Data

Aaim aggregates financial data from third-party providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Asset classifications and pledging capacity calculations are estimates and do not constitute financial advice. The information you connect to Aaim, and the analysis Aaim produces from it, are part of your own relationship with Aaim. Your financial institution does not supply it, and Aaim does not read your financial institution's records of your accounts. Aaim holds this information for one purpose: to let you share it with the financial institutions you choose. Aaim uses it for nothing else, and does not sell it, rent it, or use it to market anything to you. Aaim stores it encrypted and pseudonymized. When you disconnect an account or close your Aaim account, Aaim stops collecting it and ends its access at the provider. Aaim keeps the history it already holds for the periods law and regulation require, with the information that identifies you replaced by tokens and the originals kept encrypted under a key Aaim's services cannot use, opened only when a court order, subpoena or regulator compels it. An account that backs an outstanding pledged-asset loan stays readable to Aaim until the pledge is released. A copy you share with a financial institution becomes that institution's record, governed by its own terms and privacy notice.

5. Collateral Pledging

When you create a pledge, you authorize Aaim to share your account and asset information with your designated financial institution. Pledge decisions are between you and your FI. Aaim does not make lending decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

Aaim is not a financial advisor, lender, or broker. Our platform provides tools for asset visibility and collateral management. We are not liable for lending decisions, asset valuations, or financial outcomes resulting from use of our platform.

7. Text Messages

Aaim account alerts are texts Aaim sends to a mobile number you add and verify in Settings: a code to verify the number or recover your account, and alerts when a pledge needs your attention. Message frequency varies with your pledges. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to stop all texts; you can also turn texts off in Settings. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For help, email support@aaim.com or call +1 212-931-6500.
